We're pregnant!

In June, Jason and I found out that we're pregnant.  We have been ready to start our family for quite awhile, and were thrilled to learn that we are due to have a baby in February!  Sharing the news with our family and friends has made it even more exciting, and it's finally starting to feel real.

At 8 weeks, the baby looked like a little blob (or a squid, which is why we sometimes refer to him/her as Squidley).  That made the 12 week ultrasound (below) even more amazing, where we could actually see the facial profile and little hands and feet.

This week is the 17-week mark - time is flying!  In about 3 weeks, we'll have another ultrasound and hopefully learn whether we're having a boy or girl.
